Queen Victoria, Moore’s Windsor Castle Box With 8 Royalty Medalets, Rogers 4100
A nice example of this toy money box issued by Joseph Moore circa 1848. The box contains a full set of 8 medalets from Moore’s Royalty series (Rogers 270-277), the Victoria medalet being the much rarer “No REG” variety (Rogers 270a). The box is lightly worn but the lid has a couple of dings. Each of the medalets has been pierced at top but are otherwise fully lustrous with a trace of wear to the high points. I have provided high-resolution close up photos so you can decide on a grade for yourself.
