A 17th century token issued by a Witney tallow chandler. Worn but with some detail remaining.
O: IOHN YOUNG around man making candles.
R: OF WITNEY 1655 around cable inner circle Y over IA.
This token is listed in Dickinson as Oxfordshire 247 and in Norweb as N.3853. I would grade this token Good (Sheldon VG8). I have provided high-resolution close up photos so you can decide on a grade for yourself.
