ND London W.1287, Grub Street, George Hide, Farthing Token, N.7050
A nice example of this scarce 17th century token which is the Norweb plate specimen. Worn but reasonably well detailed. Ex Quentin Archer Collection, Noonans, 22/4/2026, lot 313 and previously ex Norweb Collection, Spink, 28-9/3/12, lot 320, R J Carthew Collection and R A Nott Collection. Presented with old tickets and Norweb envelope.

R: IN GRUBB STREET within beaded inner circle, a tobacco-roll and half-moon within.
This token is listed in Dickinson as London 1287 and in Norweb as N.7050 where it is the plate piece. I would grade this token Very Good (Sheldon F12). I have provided high-resolution close up photos so you can decide on a grade for yourself.
