An affordable example of this popular Tudor coin struck at Southwark circa 1553. Lightly worn and well detailed. I note a crack through the obverse but the coin is otherwise stable. Weight 2.76g.

O: EDWARD VI D G AGL FRA Z HIB REX. Facing bust with rose left and VI right.
R: POSVI DEV ADVITORE MEV. Long cross fourchée over square-topped shield of royal arms within double circle.
