Description
1936 KN British West Africa, Edward VIII Penny, KM.16, Gem Uncirculated, NGC MS65+
An exceptional example of this coin which is one of only a handful of types to bear the name of King Edward VIII. Struck at the private Kings Norton Mint and with the KN mintmark on reverse. Well struck with flashy cartwheel lustre.
O: EDWARDVS VIII REX ET IND IMP. ONE PENNY. Crown above centre hole.
R: BRITISH WEST AFRICA 1936. Six pointed star.
