Description
1772 Great Britain, George III, Maundy Twopence, S.3756
A nice example of this Maundy coin with 7 over 6 date variety. Lightly worn and well detailed.
O: Young laureate and draped bust right. GEORGIVS·III·DEI·GRATIA·.
R: 2 below crown. MAG·BRI·FR·ET·HIB·REX·17 72·.
I would grade this coin Very Fine (Sheldon AU50) but I have provided high-resolution close up photos so you can decide on a grade for yourself.
