1793 Yorkshire, Huddersfield, Halfpenny Conder Token, D&H 15

 

A lightly circulated example of this 18th century Conder token. Light wear and toned to a dark chocolate brown. 

 

O: A public building, EAST INDIA HOUSE.

R: The Grocers' arms, &c. HALFPENNY 1793.

E: PAYABLE AT IOHN DOWNINGS HUDDERSFIELD.

 

This token is listed in Dalton & Hamer as Yorkshire 15. I would grade this token Good Very Fine (SheldonAU53). I have provided high-resolution close up photos so you can decide on a grade for yourself.
